I’m a daughter, wife and mother who just happens to be a big fan of love stories! I have been planning and designing weddings since 2007 and my passion is to help couples create truly fantastic events that are unique to their personalities – with some romance and sparkle sprinkled in, of course. I love to design events from each different love story that I encounter. Every wedding is a new and growing experience for me! I am grateful for my family and friends every single day. When I’m not working on finding the perfect touches for an upcoming big day or sharing the latest in wedding inspiration on the blog, you can probably find me relaxing at home with my husband and kids, reading, playing music or organizing my cabinets for the billionth time! Tessa Funk

My name is Tessa Funk and I am one of the newest editions to Glamorous Occasions! This past year I became fully certified as a wedding planner with the WPIC and I have loved every minute of being a part of our clients’ special days. Helping do set ups, take downs and anything else required during your wedding day is not only a pleasure for me to do, but I strive to do everything I can to make your day as stress free as possible! With each wedding I’ve worked, I’ve become more calm, collected and confident! I love the design aspect of weddings and I enjoy putting colors and ideas together to create the exact look that represents you as a couple! I love wedding decor and creating atmosphere whether it be for a glamorous big wedding or an intimate rustic wedding. I enjoy when I can incorporate natural inspirations such as floral elements and trees into the wedding that I design. I love what I do and I hope that I will be able to help you to have the most memorable and beautiful wedding that you can imagine!
